Appointments and rates
Consultation
Bellefontaine SA attaches great importance to providing its customers with full and transparent information. Prior to any treatment or medical intervention, Bellefontaine SA will therefore arrange a personal consultation meeting with the customer, during which the latter will be informed of all the details of the planned treatment, as well as any possible risks, side effects and presumed costs. Prices are determined on the basis of the time spent and the type of procedure or treatment agreed. The prices published on the website are given as an indication and are not binding. It is important to note that the costs of this treatment are not covered by the health insurance fund and must be borne by the customer. The cost of the consultation is 200 for the surgical and medical aesthetic consultation and 100 for the consultation with the medical aesthetician. The latter will be deducted from the price of an operation or treatment. If the customer wishes a second consultation, this will again be subject to a fee, but the second consultation will not be deducted from the price of a procedure or treatment.
Cancellation of a non-surgical consultation or treatment
In the event of non-appearance for Aesthetic Medicine and/or Aesthetic Surgery appointments with the doctor, CHF 200 will be charged for consultation appointments or the full price of the treatment for treatment appointments, if these are not cancelled in writing at least 48 hours – working days – in advance. A working day is defined as any day of the week excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail or Whatsapp). As today’s multiple means of communication are accessible to all, no exceptions will be made.
In the event of non-appearance for Medical Aesthetic Care appointments with the medical aesthetician or medical assistant, CHF 100 will be charged for consultation appointments or the full price of the treatment for treatment appointments, if these are not cancelled in writing at least 48 hours – working days – in advance. A working day is defined as any day of the week excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail or Whatsapp). As today’s multiple means of communication are accessible to everyone, no exceptions will be made.
Deadline for payment and cancellation of transaction fees
In the case of planned operations, it is often impossible for Bellefontaine SA to arrange a replacement patient in the event of cancellation. Because of these scheduling difficulties, cosmetic surgery patients who do not cancel their surgical appointment by email or whatsapp less than 10 working days (a working day is defined as any day of the week excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) before the operation must pay the full price of the operation. In the event of cancellation less than 30 working days but more than 10 working days (a working day is defined as any day of the week excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) before the date of the operation, 50% of the price of the operation will be charged; in the event of cancellation more than 30 working days (a working day is defined as any day of the week excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) before the date of the operation, there will be no refund of the booking fee. Payment for the operation must be made on receipt of the latter or no later than 6 weeks before the date of the operation (otherwise, the operation may be cancelled by us, with no refund of the booking fee). Failure to pay in advance of the operation within the specified time is also considered to be a cancellation.
Booking an operation
As soon as an operation date has been scheduled, a booking fee of CHF 300 will be payable for administrative costs (announcement for ultrasound, blood test, sending of various emails, etc.). These costs will be deducted from the price of the operation, with no possibility of reimbursement.
Postponement of the operation
A postponement is linked to a cancellation and a new booking of the date of the operation.
Applying for financing for the operation
If you opt to request financing for your operation, we will only be able to validate a date for the operation once the financing request has been validated by our factoring partner. Please note that it may take around 3 days until we receive validation from our partner.
